About Cody Myler
My name is Cody Myler, and I’ve spent nearly two decades helping people build stronger, healthier, and more confident bodies.
I am the former owner of NXT Rep Fitness in Dallas, Texas, which I successfully owned and operated for over 14 years before selling the business in August 2025. After the sale, I made the intentional decision to return to a more personal, high-touch training model by building a private personal training studio on my property in Little Elm, TX—a focused environment designed for results, not crowds.
I work with clients of all backgrounds and goals, including muscle building, weight loss, sports performance, competition prep, and military/law enforcement training. Whether you’re brand new to training or highly experienced, my approach is built around smart programming, injury prevention, and long-term sustainability.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Psychology and a Master’s degree in Sports Management. I also hold 20+ professional fitness certifications, including my most recognized credentials through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES).
In addition to training clients, I am deeply passionate about education. I own and teach a NASM certification preparation school, where I’ve personally mentored and taught 60+ trainers across the DFW area, helping them launch and elevate their careers in fitness.
My journey into strength and conditioning began during my time as a college basketball coach, when I was asked to also serve as the team’s Strength & Conditioning Coach due to my educational background. That experience solidified my passion for performance training and ultimately led me to start my first personal training business in Dallas in 2007.
